Microcred Group builds upon the best Digital Finance initiatives currently available and adapts them to the markets in which it operates.

In Africa, the Group relies on the development of mobile telephony, which is a great opportunity to get closer to customers located in remote areas.

The mobile allows, in the absence of banking infrastructure, to receive and pay salaries, help relatives through money transfers, pay for expenses of the everyday life through a network of partners or manage loans, savings accounts and insurance.

In China the Group builds on the tremendous development of the community credit sector, P2P (peer-to-peer) lending. Microcred intends to support more entrepreneurs and SMEs using this method of funding. 

THE BAOBAB AGENTS NETWORKS 

To make its products and services available to the entire population, Microcred develops an agents networks in addition to physical branches and outlets.

In Senegal and Madagascar, the first Baobab agents networks were established in late 2014. The agents are small traders in partnership with Microcred. They have a biometric terminal and are directly connected to Microcred’s banking system via a gateway, using the latest web and mobile technology. 




IN THE FIRST HALF OF 2015, MORE THAN 33,000 CLIENTS REGULARLY USED THE SERVICES OF MORE THAN 450 AGENTS. 


To facilitate the targets of its portfolio managers and increase their efficiency, Microcred is developing a suite of web and mobile applications to optimize the management of loan portfolios. 


Accessible on Smartphones, these applications are available to all the Group’s portfolio managers.
